Gatehouse Management has been in operation for nearly 10 years, realising in the mid-1990s that the face of Auckland hospitality was changing and more and more corporate business people and travellers alike were preferring to utilise the services of a furnished, serviced apartment that they could call their own for whatever period they were in town. Whilst still having recourse to all the resources the apartment building provided (even more so if owned by a hotel chain), it also gave them the freedom to come and go as they pleased and entertain/prepare their own meals – thus providing the comfort of home. To attract this clientele, Gatehouse Management has spent considerable resources over the years in fostering corporate contacts to preferred supplier status as well as developing an attractive website to encourage response from prospective discerning travellers.

Gatehouse Management is one of the successful Quinovic franchises. They are an ex-military family, who established the company 13 years ago.  It is centrally based off the top of Upper Queen Street, with just over 400 managed properties covering most of the Auckland area, specialising in quality unfurnished residential homes and apartments in the medium to high price range. They have been in business since 1991 and have been successful in the Auckland market by providing a quality, personalised service utilising the efficiency of a sophisticated web-based computer system. They are affiliated with seven Wellington companies of the same name that are the preferred suppliers for staff of many Government Departments and high profile corporate businesses when they are relocating overseas. They are the only companies in New Zealand offering this type of service to our owners, and our success is shown by the fact that there are now seventee Quinovic operations in the North Island.
